The Region is bordered by the Camargue in the North and
Spain in the South and is a natural amphitheatre facing the
Mediterranean with miles of sandy beaches and a hinterland
rising up to the foothills of the Massif Central and the
Pyrenees.
It is a region blessed
with an average of 300 days of sunshine each year and has
come into its own with its many marinas and wonderful
beaches and is one of the largest wine producing areas in
the World.
It is an area of outstanding beauty
with a road system designed for the motoring enthusiast and
full of historical sights to explore together with the major
towns of Montpellier, Nimes, Beziers, Carcassonne and
Perpignan, all of which have their own local Airports
providing easy access to the Region from all parts of the
World.
